In this article, I will share my experience with Fitbit Versa 4 and explain the features so that you will know if it is really worth your money.
Fitbit Versa 4 Features and Functionality
As a user of the Fitbit Versa 4, here is the list of some prominent features of this watch that I consider important to share with you to either encourage you or save you from purchasing it.
Design and Display
Fitbit Versa 4 now has a raised button, which makes it easier for you to use. It is used to turn on the screen, assign your favorite app, or to a customized feature from the setting.
Fitbit Versa 4’s screen is much lighter and thinner than Versa. While wearing it, you would hardly feel you have a wearable on. It has a bright AMOLED touchscreen. It comes in four colors with a matching strap and offers a diverse range of hundreds of watch faces. So, it is not possible you wouldn’t like any of them.
Fitness and Health Tracking
Now comes the main purpose of smartwatches: fitness and health tracking!
Fitbit Versa 4 not only shows accurate data on steps, distance, and exercise routines, but it also tracks heart rate every 5 seconds during normal routine activities and once every second during workouts without any errors.
Wait, its health-tracking features don’t end here. To make it a perfect device for your fitness, Fitbit Versa 4 offers detailed sleep quality statistics and health insights as well. It is mainly known for its sleep-tracking feature, and it provides you with a sleep profile based on your sleep habits.
Fun fact: Fitbit Versa 4 also gives you an animal that describes your sleep behavior for you to better understand your type
Battery Life and Charging
Compared to the Fitbit Versa 3 or other watches, the Fitbit Versa 4 has an excellent and long battery life. It can go for 6+ days. It charges so quickly that only 12 minutes of charging is enough to keep this watch working for a full day.
But if your watch has the always-on display enabled, it can impact the battery’s life, and it will last for only two to three days.
Call Quality and Notifications:
The drawback of using Fitbit Versa 4 is that you won’t get the perfect call quality. If you are using the on-device speaker, it may sound slightly muffled.
On the other hand, you can get all the notifications on your device but it would be quite irritating to not be able to respond to them directly.
The good thing first, is you get a free membership for the first 6 months which includes many addicting features for you like games and challenges, video training workouts by experts, your fitness report, and much more. But after 6 months you will need to pay 9.99 dollars per month.
Besides that, it also offers a 2-year protection plan, which can be useful if your watch ever gets damaged (which will eventually happen at some point in 2 years) because it offers coverage from accidental damage for 39.99 dollars.
But this plan is only for accidental damages, so you better not fling it on the floor on purpose
Pricing and Availablity
With a lot of features and the best designs, here is one more thing that makes the Fitbit Versa 4 an amazing watch. As compared to other smartwatches, Fitbit is moderately priced. It is available for only 199.95$.
You can easily order it from Amazon or any other online application but the best one, you can order it from Fitbit’s official website. If you are purchasing from any electronic shop, you can visit the Fitbit website to check the authorized retailers as well.
