Create Datasets in Leonardo AI – Unveiling the Jumpstart to Artistic Creation

Leonardo Datasets

If you are enthusiastically into art and designing and have jumped into AI tools to explore it and make it more challenging for yourself, then you are at the right place. You will get amazed that how art got advanced with every training.

Have you ever thought about training your own AI model with your images or even with others’ images? If No, then Leonardo training and datasets make the model training an easy medium for users. But first, you need to subscribe quickly.

You will be covered with every single thing from how to train data set in leonardo and what a good data set looks like in Leonardo Ai.

Let’s start!!

What is Datasets? datasets are one of the innovative features of Leonardo.Ai which works as your image gallery which you can set according to your image selection. If you want to train the Leonardo ai model for anime creation, set the Leonardo dataset with anime images.

Similarly, after generating a Leonardo dataset, you can train your model which you can use for Leonardo AI Image generation.

Let’s head over to how to create data set in leonardo ai.

How to Create Dataset?

The datasets in Leonardo ai can be created by heading to the training and datasets area, clicking on create a new dataset, and then uploading good quality images into it.

It’s extremely simple and easy to create, but still, if any question arises, you can ask queries on our provided email address. We will feel good to serve you.

Head to Leonardo Training and Dataset

After heading to Leonardo.Ai signup, you can see the training and dataset box in the right column, right below the personal feed box. Click Training and Datasets.

Datasets in Leonardo

Hit “Create New Dataset”

When clicking “training and dataset” it will lead you to the page of your dataset. There, you will find create new dataset button. Click that button.

Leonardo Datasets

Enter Name and Description of Dataset

You will be asked to name your dataset with a description.

Set Leonardo Dataset name and description according to the model you are going to train for.

You can add images in the dataset based on styles, photorealistic images, and for many other model training.

Hit, the “create dataset” button to proceed further.

Leonardo Datasets Name and Description

Upload Images to Dataset

You can add images to dataset from the Leonardo gallery, your personal feed, and from your own device by clicking the upload images button.

Tip: A good sweet spot is around 8-15 images. But feel free to experiment beyond that range!

How to create Leonardo Dataset

Hit Train the Model

After uploading the images from where ever you want, hit the “train model” button to save your Leonardo dataset to your dataset bar.

Leonardo Dataset Process

Hopefully, your query about how to create a data set in leonardo is all cleared up, and you are able to create a Leonardo ai dataset with the flow.

Must read till the end to get to know What actually a good dataset seems like.

How to Delete Dataset?

Leonardo ai Dataset can be deleted in the same way you created Leonardo ai Datasets. Moreover, it’s shorter to delete than create. All you have to do is to reach your dataset by Training and Dataset column, click edit dataset and Yes, Delete it.

All Done!!

But let’s also have a look to its steps.

Head to Training and Dataset

Head to “Training and Dataset” after logging into Leonardo.Ai.

Training and Datasets

Click Edit Dataset

You will see a generated dataset over there. Select the Dataset you want to delete, and click edit dataset.

Edit Leonardo Dataset

Click Delete Dataset

You will be shown all the images in the dataset, but you are here to delete the dataset.

So click the “Delete Dataset” button directly.

Here you are done with creating and deleting the dataset in

Look how easy it is to delete a dataset in Leonardo and how to create a dataset in Leonardo.

How to Remove Images from Dataset?

Removing images from the Leonardo ai dataset is also an easy way which can be achieved by selecting images of your dataset and hitting the remove images button at the same time.

You can remove images during the creation of the Dataset and also afterward create it.

Head to Training and Dataset

Head to “Training and Dataset” after logging into Leonardo.Ai.

Click Edit Dataset

You will see a generated dataset over there. Select the Dataset you want to delete, and click edit dataset.

Select Images

Your Leonardo dataset will be open, then you can select the number of images you wish to delete.

Click on Remove Image

After selecting the images, hit the button “remove images” to permanently delete the images from your dataset.

Here, you are done with everything you must know about Leonardo ai Datasets. The only thing that can make you curious about is what your Dataset in Leonardo ai must look like.

So why not discuss that?

What a Good Leonardo Dataset looks like?

A good dataset in leonardo ai must have a good number of images, consistent angle images, and a described instance prompt.

In this way, you can train your model with balance and variety. Don’t limit your model to one style but be consistent with images.

Number of Images

Add an average number of images to your dataset. Don’t overflow your dataset with irrelevant images.

It’s advised to add around 8-15 images to your Leonardo ai dataset.

Don’t create a dataset with less than 5 images and more than 30 images.

You can see in the above images that the dataset is set for 23 images. But here that is reduced to 19 images. The selected images have been removed.

And now the new dataset looks like this.

Variation over Consistency

You must have heard Consistency is the key.

Here, the same thing applied. Add consistent images, don’t go for a variety of images. If you add a variety of images, the model will not give you the result from the same perspective.

Assume you train a model for B&W sketches and added images in its dataset about B&W painting. The model will generate paintings and sketches based on its training. It won’t remain for B&W sketches only.

Note: Make sure to add images of the same pattern and theme that must share the same angle, composition, and graphic style.

In this image, you can see the dataset has been trained on white buildings but there is a blue and multi-colored image which can generate variation in images based on user prompt.

Instance Prompt

Instance prompt defines your model. You can add 2-4 words in your instance prompt so that it will help the model to learn the prompt in a better way.

The instance prompt used in the mentioned dataset is “futuristic building”. If you get confused over adding an Instance prompt, add any word related to your dataset and put “a” before it. Easy!!

Hope you find this article useful and learned deeply about how to create a dataset in Datasets are af fun thing if you exactly know what kind of model you want to train.

You might find this tricky in the beginning but eventually, you will learn that Leonardo has done the best thing to add it in its user interface and how helpful it is for artists that can train their models like partners and get their work done in seconds.

How many images can be added to a single dataset?

In a single dataset, it is advised to add 8-15 images. At a minimum, you can add 5 images and a maximum of 30 images.

What can make Leonardo Dataset looks bad?

Images with a variety of angles and frames can make a good dataset look bad. Also, different quality images can disturb the Dataset theme.
